For foreign workers, an offer of employment from a Canadian company is normally required before Employment and Social Development Canada may issue a Temporary Work Permit (ESDC). This procedure consists of numerous steps. Depending on the nation of citizenship of the foreign worker, a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) may also be required in order to enter Canada.
